Among these questions is "where do you stand on the issue of paying college athletes?"
First of all, I think college sports are more interesting because athletes are not paid. At the same time, there is a lot of money being made for a lot of people on the backs of athletes who are not paid. Let me put it this way, college athletes are already getting paid at big-time Division I institution in sports like football and basketball in violation of NCAA rules. Periodically, schools get caught and are punished. I think the easiest solution is to allow it to continue, let boosters write checks to attract talented athletes, but remove the rules against it.
