Projections of the Future Marketplace- Looking Good for Communication Majors
In the September, 2011 issue of Spectra, the official news letter of the National Communication Association, Martin Carcasson, Associate Professor at Colorado State University, states that "the key growth careers communicaton majors should consider are facilitators, mediators, moderators, conveners, and other process-focused experts that improve the overall quality of communication and support collaborative problem-solving in their organizations and communities."
Such positive projections are common as communication majors, whether it be in Strategic Communication, Sports Communication, or Public Relations, are well prepared for applying their communication-skill sets in most organizational and corporate contexts.
